Let's Get Cooking! -Poached Egg Recipe

For our recipe for today, we will be making a cheeseburger topped with a poached egg. 


Ingredients

  • Bread (burger buns/ tinapay)

  • Ground beef

  • Cheese slices

  • Fresh Potatoes

  • Eggs

  • Ham (if any)

  • Condiments


Procedure (Burger)

  1. Take the ground beef and make a burger shape and place it onto the Pan 

  2. Cook the burger on one side for a few minutes

  3. Flip the burger and place a slice of cheese as the other side cooks

  4. Place the ham on the same pan to cook


Procedure (bread)

  1. Take a pan and place butter on it

  2. Take the bread and place the open side onto the pan

  3. Wait for it to be toasted

Procedure (Eggs)

  1. Grab a 3-inch pot and fill 3/4ths of water

  2. Bring it to a boil 

  3. Place the egg onto a strainer to remove the excess white,

  4. Once water starts boiling, turn down the heat into a simmer

  5. Place the egg and wait for 3-5 mins

  6. Take the egg and place it onto an ice bath, then into a paper towel

Procedure (fries)

  1. Peel of the skin

  2. Start slicing it into tiny fry-shape

  3. Ready your pot with at least 1-inch full of oil

  4. Once boiling place the fries

  5. Wait for a few minutes to cook

  6. Once cooked, place it on a plate with a paper towel

  7. Sprinkle it with salt, or any powdered flavor

Procedure (Assembly)

  1. Place your bun onto a plate, then place ketchup/mayo/mustard

  2. Place the Burger with cheese onto the said bun

  3. Place the ham on top of the cheese

  4. Place another slice of cheese on top of the ham\

  5. Place the poached egg on top of the second cheese

  6. Place the top bun

  7. Lastly, place the fries on the side
